Cherokee Scholars Cherokee Scholars

OPENS MARCH 1st, 2012 ... 7th, 8th and 9th Graders.

The purpose of the Cherokee Scholars Program is to increase the percentage of Cherokee high school graduates who are more equipped to enter and complete their college education. Cherokee Scholars are high school students who have completed the Scholars Course of Study, a specific progression of academic coursework in math, science, language arts, and social studies.

Cherokee Junior Achievement

Cherokee JABiztownThe purpose of the Cherokee Junior Achievement Program is to increase the percentage of Cherokee high school graduates who are more equipped to enter and complete their college education. The Cherokee Junior Achievement program will help develop financial literacy as well as help strengthen bonds to the Cherokee language and Culture. The program will follow a traditional Junior Achievement course curriculum but will be taught by Cherokee Nation Business volunteers and/or teachers.
